Volunteering Around the World

“From the standpoint of daily life, however, there is one thing we do know: that we are here for the sake of each other - above all for those upon whose smile and well-being our own happiness depends, and also for the countless unknown souls with whose fate we are connected by a bond of sympathy. Many times a day I realize how much my own outer and inner life is built upon the labors of my fellow men, both living and dead, and how earnestly I must exert myself in order to give in return as much as I have received.” - Albert Einstein

As an early childhood and parent educator, I have planned to open a preschool in my native Los Angeles. BUT as I turn 35, never having a passport, I realized that I have to truly experience the world before I can teach children about it.

I will be taking several trips a year to volunteer with different projects all over the globe; including organizations that serve children, adults, animals, the environment, and the local communities.

I look forward to bringing all of my new cultural and educational experiences back to my local community and laying the foundation of my preschool.

* Donate to Projects. As I work with certain projects, they may be in need of donated items or funds. As I become aware of ways to help the project, I will post and share that information.

* Connect me with your international family or friends who might have a couch (or floor) for me to surf.

*Gift airline miles to help with flight costs (carrier policies vary)

*Gift time share stays (I will mostly be staying in volunteer accommodations or hostels but I will take a few breaks in between projects)
